We will leave Barcelona for a morning of challenging activities, a lot of fun and fooling around – riding in buggy cars for two, through muddy passages and over hurdles etc… After lunch we will drive to the Penedes district to visit some wineries. We will discover the local wines and learn about making Cava (the Spanish Champagne), and of course we will taste a wide variety of wines.
We will spend the night at the Parador of Cardona, situated in a ninth century castle – a real once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Another possibility for the second day is a day of challenging activities such as rappelling from cliffs, omega gliding and crossing over rope bridges above an abyss. This would be a day when the adrenalin flows!
After a short rest we would carry on to a charming old village for lunch. The second part of the day will be devoted to canoeing on the beautiful lakes of Catalunya, a short trek and then a climb up a rock face using special climbing equipment and techniques that the instructor will demonstrate on the spot.
