In Kokopeli we understand that today, in the competitive arena of the business world, the recognition of outstanding performance is very important and is considered to be a vital factor in the success of every organization.
This 4-day itinerary was planned combining winter activities full of adventure and adrenaline for team-building, cultural events, excellent restaurants and unforgettable locations reflecting the unique Catalan culture.
The Pyrenees Mountain Range covers an area of over 450 square kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Mediterranean to the east, and acts as a natural border between Spain and France. Traveling in the Pyrenees will take us through lush alpine scenery, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and cliffs. In valleys and hidden corners we will visit ancient villages and encounter herds of horses, cows, and sheep. If we are lucky we might witness some of the local wildlife, such as deer, foxes, and vultures.
Important note – Winter tours are highly malleable to weather conditions. Road and trail situations change daily and therefore changes in itinerary are possible. The level of driving is easy/intermediate, when certain sections might be slightly harder. It’s important to refresh your memory with manual transmition driving. It is crucial to bring along warm clothing and high shoes.
On reaching Barcelona we will have a short briefing and will sign up for the vehicles.
We will start out northwards to the Collsecabra area which is in the heart of Catalunya and is characterized by steep cliffs, forests, isolated farms, ancient villages and more.
We will visit the ancient village of Rupit, going back in time several centuries. We will wander along the twisting picturesque alleys, among beauty spots and houses over 500 years old. This magical village is still inhabited, but hordes of tourists will not be found here as in Barcelona and therefore the human contact you will experience will be more personal.
We will continue, off-road driving in the forest in the Collsecabra area, going towards Panta de Sau, the unique dammed lake.
After dinner in the village we´ll head towards our hotel in the region
After breakfast we will head out to experience off-road segways! The advantage of this unique instrument is an easy and safe ride over trails, through woods, and even into mud and snow – all in a light enjoyable fashion, while being completely immersed in nature.
After the activity we will head northwest towards the Cadí-Moixero mountain range, across which is where the beautiful Cerdanya Valley and the High Pyrenees are located. We will keep driving over the mountains overlooking Andorra and we will reach one of the highest vantage lookout points in the Pyrenees, where we will be able to view the incredible panorama.
In the evening we will arrive at our hotel in Andorra.
Today will be completely dedicated to adrenaline-fueled winter action. We will head up towards one of Andorra’s snowy peaks where, after a short briefing, we will take off on snowmobiles – riding through the woods and reaching incredible lookout points.
The afternoon can be spent wandering through Andorra’s center, taking advantage of the tax-free shopping opportunities.
We will later head back to our hotel for dinner.
We will kick our day off with the singular excitement of the Tobotronc – a mountain sledge with the longest and most winding route in Europe. This sledge glides on an iron rail and enables everyone to go at the speed he/she feels most comfortable with and to produce the desired degree of adrenalin.
Later on we will say our goodbyes to Andorra and head out towards Barcelona, where upon arriving we will start a panoramic tour of the city, including a visit to the Montjuic, the port and the Paseo Colon, Paseo de Gracia, and the Church of the Segrada Familia.
While wandering through the old city of Barcelona we will stop at a local tapas bar for a drink and a taste of the famous Spanish tapas, enjoying a nice traditional dinner before finishing the tour and heading back to the airport.
